By accessing or using Pet Pilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pet Pilot is a pet care coordination platform that allows households to track feeding schedules, walks, health records, and other pet care activities. The Service enables real-time synchronization among household members to ensure consistent and coordinated pet care.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly update your account information as necessary
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Pet Pilot offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (pet information, logs, photos, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you provide.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• Pet Pilot is a coordination tool and does not provide veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for pet health concerns

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located within the United States. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting an updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
